Wonder how that lad u/Any-Parsley-9041 is doing.

    • Any-Parsley-9041👤0a day ago

We played well, they played better. But to say we are rarely impressive still stands as a shite take

      • [deleted]👤015 hours ago

Hahahaha love it. Even when you get pumped 3-0 at home and create half the xG of your opponent you ‘played well’.

You’ll make a great husband for someone. I’ll give you that.

        Have a good weekend pal.

        • Any-Parsley-9041👤112 hours ago

Did you watch the game? Or are you again talking about things you know very little about? Bet your wife loves that about you

          • [deleted]👤-110 hours ago

Imagine getting this mad on the internet lol

You bite so easily and don’t even make it funny. You’re like Draymond Green.

Anyway I’ll leave you be as I can see this is a sensitive topic for you.

            • Any-Parsley-9041👤18 hours ago

Oh yes so if you antagonize then it’s okay, but if I reason then it’s unreasonable. God bless your wife’s patience

              • [deleted]👤08 hours ago

                Hahahaha class

You didn’t reason you just stated your opinion.

But look I can’t be bothered with this anymore let’s just leave it.

  • mrlee105a day ago

Perfect response from Malen to take the one chance you get when being dealt a bad hand by Emery since joining. Super happy for him to get his goal.

  • smig_2a day ago

Can I shock you? 10 minutes added time was a good idea

  • Neuroxex1a day ago

How does Martinez ever see out a match Villa win

  • AaronStudAVFC3a day ago

One minute in the first half after two VAR checks and now suddenly ten minutes in the second after two VAR checks.

    • Neuroxex2a day ago

And Joao Pedro being down, and the approximate three hours Martinez/Villa have spent pissing about with the ball since they went 1-0 up. One minute in the first was a bit mad though.

    • mrlee103a day ago

I guess they just decided to add on first half’s stoppage time in the second lol

  • FromWithdean2Wembley2a day ago

Cashin is not up to speed at all. Tough first performance

  • Livinglifeform2a day ago

Zero reason to give the extra ten minutes. Just let us both rest for saturday.

  • mrlee101a day ago

There was more stoppages in the first half than the second. 10 minutes is wild

  • Walrus_mafia3a day ago

Im surprised by this decision. He didn’t mean to trip the defender but he clearly did. Surely it’s your responsibility to not do that when running behind an opponent.

    • Livinglifeform-1a day ago

Villa player tripped him, clear decision of goal.

  • Livinglifeform-1a day ago

Villa shirt scored, check complete, clear goal.

  • AaronStudAVFC1a day ago

    Asensio is unbelievable.

  • Neuroxex2a day ago

    Welcome to the PL, Cashin!

  • FromWithdean2Wembley2a day ago

He cleans wieffer out. Wtf is var doing

  • No_Section236👤3a day ago

Who’s this Brighton 16??? Looks miles off it

  • smig_9a day ago

Asensio may be the greatest player to ever live

  • 9248_6a day ago

Did the commentator just call him Marcus Asensio smh

  • 9248_3a day ago

    Asensio my boy

  • FromWithdean2Wembley2a day ago

The ref not booking ayari is bizarre. He’s committed like 5 fouls

  • ea4x5a day ago

brighton and hoVARbion? no, the officials are just that bad no matter who is playing.

  • Livinglifeform2a day ago

Alright, the VAR are just match fixing then. Ball hits the shoulder = handball, ball hits forearm = no handball.

    • brahim_of_shamunda👤7a day ago

What are you talking about? By all means criticise the referees but that was 100% a handball

      • Livinglifeform3a day ago

What makes that a clear handball when it’s to the shoulder but then a clear non handball when it hits the forearm?

    • SomethingElse5216a day ago

TIL the elbow = the shoulder. It rolled like halfway down his arm

      • ea4x2a day ago

bicep, natural position, like what happened on the other end

  • ChampagneAbuelo2a day ago

    Hold that Top Reds

  • MelonSoda38a day ago

If that’s a handball Ramsey’s should have been too

    • SpitefulSeagull👤2a day ago

It’s the exact same thing lmao

  • FromWithdean2Wembley5a day ago

You wouldn’t get a foul for that anywhere else and he’s not the goal scorer. Typical

    • SpitefulSeagull👤7a day ago

The fact that if it hits your arm in a natural position at one end it isn’t a penalty…

But if it’s at the other end the same play somehow it’s handball

      These refs have no clue

      • Torimas👤1a day ago

The ball hits a defender’s hand while in a natural position, it’s not a handball.

If it hits the goal scorer regardless of position, it is a handball. As for other attacking players, it’s supposed to be judged on intentionality.

That is, in fact, the rule. All I did was explain the rule since the the person I’m replying to doesn’t understand it. I’m not saying how the rule applies or doesn’t apply to this particular situation. So kindly explain how my description of the rules is incorrect.

        • Neuroxex1a day ago

Fwiw it doesn’t hit the goalscorer’s arm, it hits Mitoma’s arm who plays it onto Adingra who scored

          • Torimas👤1a day ago

I’m not talking about the particular play. I am just explaining what the rule is. (Or at least, it was until last October)

            • Neuroxex2a day ago

Oh, I see - my bad!

    • mrlee100a day ago

It is crap but ultimately goals just can’t really be given when there’s a hand that’s directly brought about a goal. I mean I understand why the law exists

      • shevek_o_o3a day ago

        That’s not the rule

      • FromWithdean2Wembley4a day ago

That’s not the rule tho. It’s only for goalscorers

      • Om_Nom_Zombie7a day ago

That law only applies to the goalscorer at this point (because it’s a shit law)

        • mrlee104a day ago

So the handball given here would have to have been determined deliberate by the ref? Confusing.

          • FromWithdean2Wembley2a day ago

            Yep they are just useless

  • JNMRunning9a day ago

Villa’s resolute refusal to keep any clean sheets continues, I see.

    • smig_3a day ago

      Boring just winning 1-0 innit

    • NYR_dingus5a day ago

      Overrated tbh

  • smig_8a day ago

    Yes Marcus! Go on lad

  • C1138BP👤1a day ago

Good 24 hours for surplus to requirements United wingers

  • ea4x10a day ago

why aren’t these fully automated btw? weird having to request one at the 47th minute

    • LoverofBilbies👤3a day ago

It’s odd, funny when Villa games never get one (active subreddit match thread means people stay there) then you see a match thread up for a League 2/cup match
